Mass Hoisting License Training

We offer both Continuing Education and Hoisting Exam Preparation classes to renew or acquire a Massachusetts Hoisting/Hydraulic License. The subject matter, course length, and cost vary based on the type of equipment and license required to operate the equipment. Continuing Education Classes:

Continuing Education is now a requirement to renew your Massachusetts Hoisting Hydraulic License. We can help you meet this requirement; we hold regularly scheduled Continuing Education Classes (see the schedule below) or we can customize a class to fit your needs. Cost: All Con Ed Classes are $75.00 per license category.
Duration: All classes are four hours long.

Preparation Classes:

The Contractor Safety Academy can prepare you for all Department of Public Safety Hoisting Exams. The Massachusetts Department of Public Safety has four main categories of Hoisting Licenses. We offer license preparatory classes for all of the license categories. Check out our training schedule listed below. We can also customize a class to fit your needs. Do you need a 3A/2A hoisting license or a 1D/4A license? Contact us (Link) and we can schedule any test preparation class you need. If you do not see a class listed in our schedule, please contact us to schedule a class to meet your needs.
Cost: License Preparation for each class listed below are $125.00 per category:
1C, 1D, 2A, 2B, 2C, 2D, 3A and 4A
Duration: Each preparation class is 3 hours long.
**1B and 1A license preparation classes are $300.00 per license preparation class, as these preparation classes are 8 hours long.
